  • 450 ft long hanging bridge on the river Ganga .
  • It was built in 1939
  • Laksman, brother of Lord Rama crossed Ganga River on a jute rope from this point.
  • The jute-rope bridge was replaced by iron-rope suspension bridge in 1889, and after it was washed away in the 1924 floods
