  • Perfect excuse for history enthusiasts as well as the archaeologists to explore the place.
  • 2 Temples located in fort premises dedicated to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Durga.
  • 108 Jain Temples and 101 Shiva Temples in the premises of the present Belgaum Fort, which were demolished and overthrew by the then Musalman kings and ultimately with the same stone and pillars the Belgaum Fort as built.
  • 2 mosques inside the fort -  Safa Masjid and Jamia Masjid.
